inkhour is built to keep your attention on the page, and to keep your data on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. No accounts, no sign in, no cloud.
Your reading hour, your streak, and your history are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, synced, or shared. inkhour has no servers of its own.
inkhour uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to shield apps during your chosen hour. That happens entirely on your device through Apple's system. inkhour never sees which apps you use, and no usage data leaves your phone.
inkhour contains no third-party advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Notifications
With your permission, inkhour schedules local notifications so its chimes can sound when the app is closed. These are created and delivered on your device by Apple's system; they are not sent through any server and contain no personal data.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. inkhour only learns whether you hold the paid version. It does not receive or store your name or payment details.
Deleting your data
Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app deletes your data.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
