When you first open inkhour, it asks for Screen Time permission so it can block your apps during your hour. If you skipped it, you can turn it on any time under Settings inside the app. Then pick the time your hour begins on the Schedule screen and tap Set the hour.
During the hour
The screen goes dark on purpose. Put the phone down and read. Your other apps stay blocked until the hour ends. If you truly need to stop early, press and hold anywhere on the dark screen for about five seconds. That ends the hour but breaks your streak for the day.
Keeping the hour
Finish an hour and it adds a day to your streak. Miss a day, or end early, and the streak resets to zero. Everything you read and every hour you keep is stored on your own device.
Managing your subscription
inkhour is free for three days, then $3 a month or $20 once for lifetime access. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription any time in Settings on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions. Billing is handled by Apple.
Your privacy
inkhour has no accounts and collects no personal data. Everything stays on your phone. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the details.
